Urth is an Australian company founded by three photographers who met during a road trip across America. The company is dedicated to creating premium products for environmentally conscious creators, photographers, and anyone interested in photography. Urth specializes in camera accessories, including camera straps, lens adapters, and lens filters. Their products are designed to meet the needs of photographers while promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.

I have two cameras: a Sony A series and a Pentax MX. I have lenses that accompany each one, but I became frustrated when I wanted to use a 50mm lens with my Sony, but the only 50mm I had was for my Pentax. So, I just googled ‘lens adapter’ and, bang, they came up as one of the first links.

Urth’s products (specificaly the lense adaptor) are made of aluminum and feel lightweight yet durable. I have been using this adapter for several months, and there are no signs of wear. They just feel premium.

The vintage lenses I have used with this adapter produce beautiful hexagonal bokeh, and around the edges, the bokeh is squeezed, Additionally, the depth of field planes merge seamlessly together, creating a dreamy, ethereal look.
